Fashion Function and Aesthetics

Fashion function and aesthetics involved creating a technical report based on a construction and finishing technique used by a designer. I looked at 3D printing used by Danit Peleg as well as laser cutting used by Alexander McQueen. Throughout this unit I attended workshops in knitting, weaving and print to gain a better understanding of these processes. The report required thorough research and analysis regarding these manufacturing processes and identified the importance of CAD and CAM and materials used. I was able to select relevant information to present my findings in a concise yet detailed way.
